You Have Such a Beautiful, Pretty Face! :/

Why thanks!?? I am sooo over tongue in cheek comments, such as

• "You're so pretty for a dark skin girl....
• "You're dress so nice for a big girl...
• "You're look so nice with glasses....
• "You're speak so well....
• "You're so nice for a New Yorker...
• "I woulda neva guessed you were from Brooklyn...

The list goes on and on. So, lets tackle my personal favorite, 

"You have such a pretty face." Which ultimately means if you weren't so fat then you could be a beautiful whole person instead of a head of attractiveness. 

I could really smack the next person that says that to me. 

I get it I'm pretty, beautiful, albeit gorgeous. 

But, does my rolls, or thighs really minimize that?? 

How about you keep your compliments/diss to yourself.

Texting Is NOT, I repeat not a substitute for a REAL call!!!

So is it just me or has this whole textin thing gotten out of control?? I know it can be convenient. I know sometimes you want to dissipate info w/o pressing talk. But, really I know at least 5 guys that I have dated that honestly talked to me more threw text, than actually convo.  What is really the worst that can happen, you talk, and the other person talks. 

It not that hard it been done for ages b4 textin.  

Do you realize I can't even type full sentences since I so use to abbreviating everything. I HATE being limited to 160 characters!!!! Also, what the rest of the world does not take into consideration, is that we don't all have Crackberry's. 

So I have to punch 3 buttons every time you press one. 

Also, are we so afraid of human contact, connections, and the like, that it is easier to text than to talk??

I know this one guy we'll call him Superman- he text me about how much he missed me, was happy to hear from me etc. He did that for 2 months before I realize that it been that long since I had spoken a word-verbally

 to him. Then there was Teardrop he cursed me out, fought with me, threw no less than 30 texts. Why?   It really not that difficult push Talk and do that Talk????

If the press on the other end is two long winded, you can always click over and say you have another call.......

Even better say is your mom on the next line, no one can get mad that they got cut off for Mommy Dearest!
